Corporate recruiter

As a corporate recruiter at the municipality of Deventer, you play a key role in the recruitment and selection process. You will guide team managers in finding the right people, secure our new way of working and help implement a new hiring process. To replace maternity leave, we are looking for an experienced recruiter to add to our team. A dynamic assignment in which you can fully use your expertise and proactive approach!

Your work
Do you know how to handle the recruitment process like no other? In this assignment, you will independently facilitate the process from intake to terms of employment and also play an important role in hiring. You will conduct vacancy intakes with managers, write catchy vacancy texts, set up effective recruitment campaigns and connect in selection interviews to hire the right person. You use the LinkedIn Recruiter Seat to actively find the right candidates. You get energy from unburdening and advising managers on recruitment and selection.

You will work closely with the other two corporate recruiters. You have divided the departments within the municipality equally, in which you are responsible for recruitment and selection within specific teams. You have structural consultations with HR business partners of those specific teams and you keep each other informed of developments in the field of recruitment and selection. You will be deployed broadly within our departments, which means that one day you will have an intake for recruiting a youth access officer, and the next day for project manager ICT.

In addition to day-to-day recruitment & selection tasks, the focus of this assignment is in three areas:
  1. Secure and successfully continue the 2024 implemented recruitment and selection process within your teams.
  2. In June 2025, there will be an organizational change that changes teams and executives. As a recruiter, you will support teams and executives in a smooth transition in terms of recruitment and selection.  
  3. Contributing to the successful implementation of the new hiring process through broker Flextender within your teams, so that team managers are optimally relieved of their hiring needs.(This process takes place during the hiring period, the hired employee does not have a lead role in this)

About you
You are an energetic, committed recruiter who thinks along with HR and management. You are an experienced professional in recruitment and selection and able to work independently. You love variety and switch effortlessly between different tasks and teams. Working under time pressure motivates you and you always know how to keep an overview. You take initiative and have an eye for process improvement. With your excellent communication skills, you know how to advise managers and enthuse candidates. Unburdening managers is in your nature.

Your experience
You possess:
  • Completed college education (HRM, business administration, communications or similar).
  • At least five years of experience as a (corporate) recruiter.
  • Preferably experience as a recruiter within a 1000+ employee organization or a municipality.
  • Demonstrated experience from the client side with hiring processes and working with brokers.
  • At least two years of experience using LinkedIn Recruiter Seat.
