Role description and task arrangements

UPDATE

Employee Purchasing

Average 20-24 hours week
For a period from Feb. 1 to May 31, 2025

Thereafter, there is an extension option of 3 x 4 months on an on-call basis of max 8 hours per week.

You will work in the task area Purchasing (team Legal Affairs, Public Order and Safety and Purchasing, theme Koers) to secure the contract registration within the organization. You will work together with the senior procurement advisor and the procurement consultant and contribute to the procurement project for the further professionalization of procurement within the organization (a.o. set up customer journey). This is an assignment for which some experience is fine, but especially competences such as good communication skills, independent and cooperative work, structured and planned work and a proactive attitude are important.

You will contribute to or support the following activities :

Assisting in setting up the customer journey:
  • Connection between procurement processes and contract management
  • Making information findable on procurement intranet

Registration of hiring contracts:
  • Designing registration process for hiring contracts
  • Implementation of registration of hiring contracts
  • Secure hiring contract registration process (linked to core registration and taking into account AVG)

Further professionalization of contract management
  • Function as a point of contact for colleagues regarding contract management
  • Breaking new employees into contract management as soon as they are hired
  • Investigate alternatives to the current contract management tool
  • Monitoring the process and performing quality checks

Contract management (i.c.w. strategic procurement consultant)
  • Assist in exploring organizational needs related to contract management
  • Mapping the current practice of contract management within the organization
  • Support in designing the future contract management process
  • (Co-)advising on the establishment of contract management, including the use of appropriate systems

What do we ask of you?
  • You have at least a college education, (affinity with the legal field is an advantage);
  • Knowledge and at least six months' experience in the field of contracts and procurement;
  • Knowledge of automated systems such as Topdesk and Purfact (spendtool);
  • Knowledge of and experience with registration contracts and contract management;
  • Knowledge of and experience in professionalizing procurement from a project.
  • Be able to read contracts independently and process relevant information;
  • Be able to retrieve and process missing information independently and proactively;
