Role description and task arrangements

  • You will direct the recruitment and selection process and ensure that everything runs smoothly
  • As a solid and critical sparring partner, you advise team leaders (16) and MT members (5) on their vacancies and the recruitment process. You manage expectations and find smart, practical solutions.
  • Together with the vacancy holder, you will draft appealing and contemporary vacancy texts that are well suited to the target group(s) to be reached
  • You liaise with candidates and internal stakeholders to ensure the process runs smoothly
  • You will work with external parties, such as campaign agencies, to strengthen recruitment efforts
  • You maintain oversight of multiple jobs and processes simultaneously, ensuring everything runs smoothly
  • You keep records in the ATS system (HR office)
Furthermore, we require 
  • HBO working and thinking level and a relevant education
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a recruiter 
  • Preferably experience within municipality or government
  • Experience writing job postings
  • Experience working with external parties, such as recruitment or campaign agencies
  • Talent for keeping an overview and keeping several balls in the air at once
  • Dare to be critical and be a solid sparring partner for internal and external stakeholders.
About the team
You will work in the nicest team of the Utrechtse Heuvelrug municipality: the HR Communications team, consisting of HR advisors, an HR strategist, HR staff and team communications. In your role, you work independently and bear a lot of responsibility, but you are never completely alone. Your colleagues are always there to think with you, help you or give you feedback.
