Purpose of the Position
Organizing, coordinating, optimizing, and executing the physical and administrative logistics process.
Main Responsibilities.
- Responsible for the receipt and dispatch of goods, tools, and (semi-)manufactured products, including administrative processing and incoming inspection.
- Responsible for the storage, management, and inventory of goods, tools, and (semi-)manufactured products at internal and external locations, including hazardous materials.
- Acts as a specialist in the logistics aspects of the ERP system, ensuring proper usage, proposing improvements, resolving issues, and advising users.
- Schedules deliveries of required goods upon request and informs both the requester and receiver.
- Establishes logistics agreements with suppliers and recipients of products.
- Arranges transport for (partial) products, negotiates transportation methods and schedules, prepares framework contracts, monitors product delivery, supervises valuable and/or high-risk shipments, and provides information for transport risk assessments.
- Advises projects on logistical and export/import-related matters.
- Handles customs formalities and manages customs permits; prepares the export classification of products for quotations and final deliveries.
- Proposes improvements to the (physical) logistics process.
- Submits declarations to the Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS) for financial administration.
- Ensures orderliness and cleanliness of logistics spaces and internal/external storage locations.

- With carriers to prepare contracts and arrange specific transports with suppliers.
- With customs and other authorities to handle formalities, request permits, and legalize certificates.
- With international recipients of products.
