Role description and task arrangements
As financial advisor social domain you are responsible together with two immediate colleagues for advising the college, MT and other organizational units of the municipality of Utrechtse Heuvelrug.

In this position you will be part of the Finance team, which consists of 20 colleagues. The Finance team advises and supports board, management and organizational units, formulates financial policy and executes the Planning and Control cycle. In this position, you will work directly with two experienced strategic financial advisors.
In this position, the focus is the Social Domain:
- You will advise directors, Manager, policy staff and project leaders on financial economic aspects of their field, from board proposals to budget preparation and execution;
- You will be responsible for components of the P&C cycle products, including budget, financial statements, framework letter, summer report and other interim reports and support product holders and product managers in the preparation of the P&C products;
- You will be responsible for the financial section of B&W recommendations for multiple policy areas and their translation into the P&C cycle;

- Working with the Finance team and the group controller on strategic financial issues and develop, implement and evaluate financial policies around the Social Domain
- Identify and respond to trends and current events.
