Would you like to put your communication skills to use in an organization where there is still plenty of room for growth and development? At Zuid-Holland Bereikbaar (ZHB), you will have that opportunity. As a Communications Advisor, you will work in a unique partnership of eight government agencies and organizations. It is a challenging role in which you will expand your network and contribute directly to the accessibility of Zuid-Holland.
Who is ZHB?
Zuid-Holland Bereikbaar is a partnership between the Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management, Rijkswaterstaat, the Province of South Holland, the Municipality of The Hague, the Municipality of Rotterdam, the Metropolitan Region of The Hague Rotterdam (MRDH), the Port of Rotterdam Authority, and ProRail.
Our main task is to improve accessibility in South Holland. To achieve this, we work with our partners to ensure that disruption during construction work is kept to a minimum and we contribute to the sustainable mobility transition. We have around 100 people working at ZHB. This consists of a permanent base of approximately 30 employees and around 70 people in a flexible shell. The communications team consists of 6-7 advisors.
What will you be doing?
As a Communications Advisor, you will translate strategy into concrete communication plans and resources. You will work closely with colleagues in a specific area or project, but you will also have the opportunity to run projects independently. These could include public campaigns, content for websites and social media, or communication around mobility projects. You will make complex topics understandable and appealing to different target groups, from residents and travelers to governments and partners. In doing so, you will contribute directly to the visibility and positioning of ZHB.
