Managing the installation or relocation of electrical cables. Ensuring there are enough distribution stations for new solar parks. That's what you do as a Project Manager at Liander. Based in Alkmaar and working from home, you will contribute ideas to all kinds of projects. About safety, planning, and costs. And through close contact with internal and external partners, you will have many opportunities to further expand your professional network. This is a position for 32 hours per week. You will make the grid more organized at Alliander.

You will work on the design and implementation of our projects. You will be responsible for infrastructure energy projects, from planning to project completion. In addition to consulting with colleagues, you will regularly consult with the municipality, government agencies, end customers, or project developers. For example, to identify new opportunities. You will contribute to a wide range of projects: expanding electricity grids in response to increasing demand or building an electricity distribution station in connection with the construction of a wind farm. We are creating the energy grid of the future for everyone, with everyone. And as a Project Manager, you will contribute to this. Your tasks will include: 

  • manage for safety, quality, cost and schedule. 

  • Align the scope of work in consultation with the client and project team. 

  • Acting as a connecting factor within the project team and ensuring effective collaboration between the roles involved. 

  • Liaise with internal supply chain partners and external parties. 

  • Ongoing direction and coordination of multiple projects throughout the process. 

  • report on the progress and completion of multiple projects

  • experience with project management and the effective coordination of infrastructure projects.  

  • knowledge of civil engineering, architecture, and electrical engineering within projects 

  • the ability to analyze data and translate it into concrete, actionable plans and insights.  

  • Strong skills in stakeholder management and building lasting relationships.  

  • knowledge of contracts/framework agreements (including UAV 2012)
