The Energy Transition is impossible without you as a Civil Engineer/Supervisor

As Superintendent Civil/Supervisor, you are the connecting link between design and execution. You will monitor the quality, safety and progress of civil works carried out by our contractors on behalf of Liander. Thanks to your keen eye and communication skills, projects run smoothly and the energy network of the future becomes a reality.

You work in construction teams with contractors, municipalities, clients and local residents. During the design phase, you will contribute your implementation knowledge to arrive at a safe, feasible and practicable design. During execution you will supervise the civil works and ensure that everything goes according to plan, budget and safety standards.

Your duties include:

• Actively participate in the construction team to achieve the optimal design.
• Provide insight into execution risks and collaborate on solutions.
• Applying safety, occupational health and environmental provisions in the workplace.
• Organize consultations with governments, clients and contractors.
• Oversee planning, budget and guideline compliance.
• Administer and report progress, deviations and results.
• Provide final delivery and aftercare, including involvement of relevant parties.

• At least a technical mbo-3 diploma.
• BEI VOP-LS and BEI VOP-MS designations, or willing to obtain them. 
• Knowledge of contracting and underground infratechnology (electrical, gas, telecom).
• Basic knowledge of UAV and project administration.
• Ability to interpret and monitor design and contract requirements.
• Good communication skills to discuss issues with colleagues.
