Work full of energy

As a Data Engineer, you will work as part of a team to migrate and optimize our ETL processes. These processes are currently driven from Snowflake and will be migrated to Airflow. Together you are responsible for the project in which the best possible workflows must be realized. You jointly work on solutions to problems the team encounters and coordinate with the architect and the permanent platform team.

- Designing and building ETL processes with DBT and Airflow
- Setting up the data platform in Snowflake according to the Medallion Architecture
- Optimizing performance and reliability of data flows
- Collaborating with analysts and modelers to convert data into actionable insights
- Thinking about technical choices and quality improvements

  • Extensive experience with (Snowflake) SQL and DBT (must)
  • Experience with Airflow and Snowflake (Must)
  • In-depth knowledge of dimensional models and incremental ETL processes (must)
  • Experience with designing ETL steams (must)
  • Experience with analysis of data streams.
  • Experience with reversed Enginering
  • Experience with Kafka is a plus
  • Experience with AWS
  • Experience in the energy sector, preferably specifically with at least 1 of the grid operators (preferred)
  • You are a team player who enjoys working Agile and have strong communication skills
  • Eye for data quality: complete and accurate
  • An eye for quality and a modular design
